Current development (and now available )allows a teacher to record video of their teaching with a cell phone and automatically upload the video to a secure and private site where others can be invited to view and comment on any points of the video. Of course any video could be used and this is most useful for Coaching, Mentoring, evaluating (via a rubric attached to the video) or just peer review by other teachers invited to view and comment. This system is also excellent for creating master-coded videos for both training observers, and building a PD library for teaching staff, based on your own rubrics.. Using your own staff for master-coded videos of teaching exemplars will save you thousands of dollars per school per year if you have been paying for outdated videos by strangers that are not co-related to your evaluative rubrics. Our eWalk and iCoach systems now support all of the 9 Guiding Principles that have resulted from the intensive 3 year MET project funded by Bill & Melinda Gates.

I am currently developing a system to obtain the perceptions of the school of students, parents and teachers using research-based surveys, for measuring the effect of teaching on learning based on the research of John Hattie and McREL International, and for taking inventory of the use of effective teaching strategies so-as to enable collaboration amongst staff to improve teaching and learning.
