This session will present offers an opportunity to learn how to incorporate best practices, differentiation and collaboration into using relevant technology. Identification and basic troubleshooting of each component used is addressed for both incorporating appropriate state recommended technologies within the framework of the common core.
This course will demonstrate the features of Google Classroom and it will be shown as a Learning Management System (LMS) that fully integrates Google Apps for Education (GAFE). See examples of real student interaction with the LMS.

Building upon the Maker and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) movements, this workshop demonstrates how students design, build, program and exhibit interactive electronic art projects in a course that fuses art and technology. Using Arduinos and Raspberry Pi's, students learn to construct circuits with sensors to create visual and performing art projects. The presentation be part exhibition of student work and also demonstrate the process students go through integrating problemsolving, building with different materials, constructing electronic circuits and computer programing.

Understanding math is much more than answering problems on a page. In this session, participants will explore some ways that students can demonstrate a deeper understanding of math concepts and vocabulary, through creating fun and engaging multimedia projects. This process includes using different iPad apps and Web 2.0 websites to produce and publish short screencasts and math-oriented movies which can be shared around the world to a global audience.
