Activating student voice as a driver for deep personalized learning

Target audience: Teachers of Grades 3-12 

In this hands-on workshop, we will draw on the work of leading educational thinkers to share practical strategies for shifting the ownership of learning from teacher to student. He will demonstrate how teachers are using high quality provocations to activate original thinking from every student in a bid to activate learners and learning in every lesson. This workshop is highly recommended for teachers who are interested in mobile, problem based or blended learning.

We will introduce participants to Verso, a free, web-based app designed to establish new learning partnerships between and amongst students and teachers. 

Participants will gain access to a bank of resources for use in the classroom along with a range of examples from schools.
